Muskegon Metro Area

Are you ready for the 7th annual Ride United event that will be held on June 15th? Ride United is just one of the many Fundraisers that benefit United Way of the Lakeshore. All of the money that is raised from Ride United will go back into our community. uwlsFollow The United Way of the Lakeshore on Facebook

This event is for all ages and abilities, you can choose 6, 25, 50 and 100 miles. All of these choices will start and end downtown Muskegon on the corner of Third and Clay. June 15th is also one of the days for Taste of Muskegon Event that is held downtown which is perfect because Taste of Muskegon is a Partner for this event.

Registration for this event is just $35 but this year the cost does not include a shirt or jersey. However, all of the registered riders are going to be receiving 10 tickets to use at the Taste of Muskegon event. If you choose the 100 mile ride you will start at 7am while all of the rest start at 9am. I was told though that you may start your ride on your own any time between 7am and 9am but you need to make sure that you are able to arrive back by 5pm.

Like I mentioned before all of the money that is raised at this event will go back into our local community one way or another. Some of the immediate places will be to provide bikes for children and to local families and people in need of transportation to work.

If you would like to have more information take some time and watch the video click on the image below. You will be able to register, check out the bike routes, and purchase your gear for the ride.
