It was quite a night for the return of Muskegon Tonight to Smash Wine Bar and Bistro!  We had spent 2 months up at Pub 111 in Whitehall enjoying what the White Lake Area had to offer a little more.  Pub 111 was nothing but awesome and we're excited to go back, but Smash is where it all started and we were so glad to to be back in the warm surroundings talking about all things Muskegon and surrounding again with a great audience and outstanding guests.

We began with Norton Shores Mayor Gary Nelund who come on to talk about his 24 mile area of the county and all that's going on.  Up next, a very candid chat with Muskegon City Manager Frank Peterson who really didn't hold back on what it takes to do his job and the multiple hats he wears.  We then shifted gears and talked about The Hope Project in Muskegon with Mary Suarez.  They have a sold out event comign up to help benefit their work against human trafficking this weekend but the talk we had focused more on what The Hope Project does and how staggering the numbers are when it comes to sex trafficking in Muskegon County.  It was time to shift gears a little after that.  Koda and Kai Yovino were Jeremy DeWitt's guests on Freak Your Geek Out and showed off their incredible toy collection.  We also gave the boys a challenge at the end of the segment.  To wrap it all up, Cody Mulready from the Muskegon Voyagers Hockey Team dropped in to talk about the new semi-pro team coming and he dropped the new logo as a world premiere on our show!

All in all, an awesome night and it's right here, for you on demand if you missed it!  You can also watch on your Roku or Amazon Fire device if you get the free Muskegon Channel app from your channel store for either!  Here's October's Muskegon Tonight Live!
