We're back in the Kitchen!  It's Kitchen 242 at the Muskegon Farmers Market with Chef LaKisha Harris of L'Soul Filled Catering and very soon, the Soul Filled Eatery in Muskegon Heights as she's out to answer the age old debate on how grits should be served...savory or sweet.

Let's rewind a second.  Were you even aware that there was a debate between how grits were to be prepared?  That's the thing, grits are a pretty versatile base for a lot of different tastes and there really is no right or wrong answer to it, but depending on what part of the country you hail from, you've grown up with grits that taste one way or another.  That's the best part of LaKisha!  She knows all the regions and has tried so many different ways to make the magic happen that she's here today to share grits both ways.

The sweet approach will yield an AMAZING dish suitable for a breakfast of champions.  The savory side, brace yourself for all things indulgent.  Shrimp, bacon. sausage, mixed veggies, cheese...oh ya, and grits!

LaKisha shares love by food and shows you how to make amazing things on a short budget and all that comfort food, will leave your friends and family amazed!
