Muskegon Civic Theater is ringing in the holiday spirit this year with their upcoming holiday show “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) taking the Beardsley Stage November 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, and December 2, 3, 4, and 5th.

I sat down, once again, with the Managing Director at Muskegon Civic Theater, Jason Bertoia who tells me the title of the show perfectly explains this comedy. The comedic play, written by Michael Carleton, John K Alvarez and James FitsGerald, utilizes only 3 actors to tell multiple classics such as Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol” and a spin on the film “It’s A Wonderful Life”. The show also pays homage to some T.V specials such as “ How The Grinch Stole Christmas” and Peanuts “A Charlie Brown”. , MCT chose to cast three of their familiar faces, Ray Brazaski, Bryan Engler and Micheal Ramsey under the direction of Tom Harryman who also took the liberty of designing the shows set, light and sound.

Tickets are $25 and can be bought on the MCT website or in the Frauenthal Center box office. To keep all audience and production members safe, masks are recommended but not required. The show is more focused on adult humor but can most definitely be enjoyed by all ages. With that being said, this show would be a perfect way to support local theater and get a touch of some holiday cheer!

Take a listen to our chat about the show and how you can get tickets.
