We're back for our second episode of Dog Blessed with Jodi Jarvis-Therrian on the Muskegon Channel and this week, Jodi is going to help you out in a couple of different ways when it comes to your dog and it's behavior.  Jodi is a Certified Dog Trainer CPDT-KA CTDI and she and her partner Paula offer classes to help you and your dog live your best lives together with their company Dog Blessed.  With the Muskegon Channel, Jodi comes on to give you some short and easy ways to help your relationship with your pet and some helpful hints to get things started.

This week, the idea is "a tired dog, is a good dog."  This is not to say that you and your dog need to be out running marathons day after day, but think of it more like keeping your dog busy in a number of ways you may not have thought of in the past and using that occupation time to build a reward based training approach rather than the never ending "bad dog" mentality of correcting undesired behavior.  It's really a great episode and Jodi helps explain the mindset of the reward based learning approach and some very unique ways that you can stimulate your pet and foster their curiosity as well as drive for rewarded behavior.  You'll see too how simple it is to utilize some of the things you have around the house to help you achieve these goals and if they are not there in the house, some super affordable ways to provide stimulation and fun while rewarding, and yes.....tiring out your dog.

Dog Blessed is brought to you by Clock's Timeless Pets and Must Love Dogs Boutique in Grand Haven.  Enjoy today's incredibly informative show and learn a little more about how to help your dog live it's best life with Jodi Jarvis-Therrian on the Muskegon Channel.
