Jodi Jarvis-Therrian is back with her increasingly popular Dog Blessed segment this week on the Muskegon Channel!  Jodi is a certified dog trainer through CPDT-KA CTDI and her primary goal with her partner in her training business is simple, "helping dogs live their best lives."  Part of helping dogs do just that, is helping dog owners understand more and manage pet ownership better through their work and advocacy.

This week, Jodi is discussing something that is easily forgotten in an emergency situation.  A fire.  It's an instant panic situation and one where there is no time to think about anything other than getting out.  As we all think back to what we learn earliest on as kids, an immediate plan of action and escape is essential for every member of the family and pet owners will always tell you that their pet is a member of the family.

Jodi makes some great suggestions for ways to help get your pet out of a dangerous situation as well as shares some thoughts about helping first responders with the difficulties of pet first aid when they are on the scene.  Yes, dog trainers can teach pet first aid too. Jodi is hosting a PET FIRST AID class on March 22nd and 24th via digital reach and you can learn more by clicking on the link.

Today, let's talk pet first aid.  Dog Blessed is brought to you by Clock Timeless Pets, Must Love Dogs Boutique and The CBD Store in Fremont.

An emergency situation is the last place anyone wants to be and the loss of a pet on top of "things" is a terrible thing to face.  Planning ahead as well as making sure that you are ready to act in a moments notice are paramount, but it's that snap moment in time that matters.  With a pet, knowing how they will respond to you and how they might respond in the moment is key and to develop that relationship far in advance is elemental to Jodi's mission of helping your pet live their best life.  You can visit Dog Blessed online.  You can also stop in to The CBD Store of Fremont, Clock Timeless Pets or Must Love Dogs Boutique in Grand Haven to thank them for helping bring you Jodi's show!  Next week, artful ways to make memories with your pet!  Stay Tuned!
