It's another episode of Dog Blessed with Jodi Jarvis-Therrian on the Muskegon Channel brought to you by Clock's Timeless Pets, the CBD Store of Michigan and Must Love Dogs in Grand Haven! This week, Jodi is not only helping to keep your pets engage, but she's hoping to light a fire under some young people too to get involved with their pets lives as well as maybe letting that extend out into the world she loves so much of training and rescue.
In this week episode, Jodi is going to show you some interesting things that are fairly easy to make and can be a dual purpose way to keep people and pets busy. First, the people. The idea here is to give young people something to do that's productive and engaging with a purpose. You'll see what's on her mind in a few. These are the people projects and not only do they keep ya busy, you're creating something that will go on to help keep your pet busy and active. It's a way to show young people that they can accomplish something that's got a purpose higher than the "high score" and that what they built will have a meaningful use in the world of a pet. For the pet, they are getting an activity that is mentally stimulating and rewarding at the same time. If you'd like to carry this on to the next step, young people building the things you see here today....could be a quick and easy way for them to make a buck too. Build it, sell it....donate a portion of it back to a shelter and now you're on your way to raising a remarkably upstanding citizen! (You are already, this is like adding a superpower though)
Let's all take a look at what's on Jodi's mind this week when it comes to people and pets. It's Dog Blessed episode number 13 on volunteering with Jodi Jarvis-Therrian on the Muskegon Channel.
A pets greatest gift is teaching us. Sure, we all thing we're teaching pets and some training like you'll find with Jodi is a super great way to help foster that relationship. Over all though a pet helps bring out more in all of us than we knew and with younger people, it's their first chance sometimes to learn how to love, care for and have an active role in the life of another being. Getting young people involved early is a win for everyone! Our thanks to Clock's Timeless Pets, The CBD Store of Michigan and Must Love Dogs in Grand Haven for their support of Dog Blessed.
