The Miss Michigan's Outstanding Teen Scholarship Program selects the representative for the state of Michigan in Miss America's Outstanding Teen, the competition focuses on the competitor's talent, passion, and ambition. Scholarship awards are the backbone of the Miss Michigan's Outstanding Teen Scholarship Program, the scholarship fund provides educational opportunities to many young women across the State of Michigan.
Grace Larsen was crowned Miss Michigan’s Outstanding Teen 2022 on June 17th. For her talent she performed a musical theater dance routine to “Sam, You Made the Pants Too Long”, she sustained a minor injury during the performance but was able to get right back up, as she answered in the on-stage question segment - "Tell me about one of your failures and what you learned from that failure" .
Grace Larsen competed as Miss Spirit of the State's Outstanding Teen against 20 other young ladies representing various local pageants during tonight's competition. This year Grace will take her initiative, "Confidence Through Kindness; Paving the Way for Future Female Leaders through Support, Empowerment and Mentorship," around the state of Michigan.
Grace Larsen is from St. Joseph, Michigan. Her future plans includes attending University of Alabama and obtain a masters degree in education to be a second grade elementary school teacher.
