Muskegon County Public Health - COVID 19 Update May 6th

Kathy Moore, Director of Public Health - Muskegon County brings her weekly update on COVID-19 in Muskegon. We go over the confirmed cases, and the number of losses. We talk about yesterday's article and what it means. It's a good thing, but it's not time to just forget what has to be done for the time. We were more than adequately prepared and that was good. We explain the difference between "State of Emergency" and the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" order. There's a big difference.

Can you sew a face mask? You are being asked for help! Details here. There's a lot of good news, but we're not out of the woods yet, including a newly morphed strain of COVID-19 and what we don't know. What we do know...we've done well. Contact tracking? What is that compared to Close tracking? Recovery numbers... some real hope....and some recognition and high praise for nurses on Nurses Day. We'll see you next week!!
