Welcome to January for the viewers of Fit and Healthy With Becky!! We ended off 2021 with a rigorous series of cardio as a crescendo to the work that went in over the year and if you noticed, we did it from Becky's home gym! We are so thankful to Mary Switzer and The Gym in North Muskegon for being our anchor since the beginning, so much so, we followed Mary!
Mary moved to the new Neal Fitness Center inside The Boys and Girls Club on the shore of Muskegon Lake! While the transition was happening, Becky's place did good, but now, what a chance to develop more of an over all fitness program with the expansive equipment and opportunities offered at the Neal Fitness Center! We are so excited to grow with this rapidly developing key spot in the community.
With that, we get back to work! We're starting the New Year off a little slower paced than we did in December. Becky has a workout buddy for a few weeks too, Tina. Tina was on hand with Becky for some personal training when we came to tape, so, we invited her on to show you how it's done! We also took care of her next monthly fee for membership at the club as a thank you!
You're going to need a couple of dumbbells and a bench this week and of course, warm up, stretch out and drink plenty of water. Consult a Dr. before you begin this or any exercise program. We're rolling in to 2022 at the Neal Fitness Center with episode 216 of Fit and Healthy With Becky, brought to you by Mercy Health, on the Muskegon Channel.
BOOM! How'd that do ya? As we explained to Tina, this isn't a contest to see who can do the most reps in the fastest time. It's not about who's got the most perfect form or ability. Fit and Healthy With Becky is designed for any level of fitness and anyone who wants to be a part of it. You'll see Tina for the next few weeks too!
With that, if you'd like to know more about the Neal Fitness Center, you'll find it linked below. It's a great partnership to help the community stay in shape and The Boys and Girls Club in Muskegon continue to flourish.
