It might be the first time we've seen this!  Becky is introducing a new implement to the workout today, it's a weighted bar for a little added resistance and adding in a little balance and honestly, some fun for your work out.

The exciting thing for this episode however, is the fact that we're back at The Gym on the 4 Corners in North Muskegon!  It's our flagship location and since the order have been relaxed opening up exercise facilities again, it felt really great to be back.  Our Summer tour of all things lakes and parks around Muskegon was great, but like anything we do, we like to support the business that help support us, so with that, let's remind you that The Gym is locally owned, small in scale but remarkably well equipped and caters to a grown up atmosphere where you work out among friends and neighbors in a welcoming atmosphere and relaxed setting.  Everything is clean, all of the proper sanitation protocols were in place long before any virus came along and memberships are affordable and open!  Stop in to The Gym today and learn more.

This is one of those Tabata style workouts.  Timed with bursts of motion, followed by short breaks of rest and reset.  We recommend you consult a Dr, before you begin this or any other work out.  Warm up, stretch out and drink lots of water.  Here comes episode 165 of Fit and Healthy With Becky on the Muskegon Channel!

Good to be home! We're so thankful for the support of The Gym.  We know too that all of the pandemic has been hard on those who enjoy the physical activity they provide there and we're thankful too that we're able to utilize all of the beautiful surroundings we've got here in Muskegon while we couldn't be inside.  If you're looking for a place to shed the "quarantine 15" stop in to The Gym today and learn more about a membership, their individual or group offerings and help support a locally owned small business.
