Like so many people in our lives that have become part of the foundation, as time goes on, how or why you came together kind of fades away, and the initial apprehension of the mindset of "well, maybe this will work" gives way to the thought of not really remembering what life was before they came along.  We have had that a couple times here at the Muskegon Channel with those who have helped us build and grow, it's a wonderful feeling to have the dedication to the bigger picture form all of the team members we do, but today, we're here to celebrate Becky.

Going back, what I can remember is the first meeting at The Gym.  We talked about what we were trying to accomplish and how we needed programs to run.  I don't remember who or how Becky was introduced to us, but like any new partnership, and fairly enough, I think she wondered a little too what would come of it.  We talked about making sure her image and desire to convey the importance of overall health was.  We talked about how the program would look and fee and we talked about her being able to reach more people while we'd pay her what we could and as we grew, so would what we were able to pay.  It was a meager offering at first, believe me but she bought in and I am not sure if she noticed or not, but she looked at a friend and kind of had a smile on her face thinking.... "Eh...what can recording a few shows hurt until this guy goes away?"

This week, is episode 200! In 2020 alone, there were 51,161 views of her workout's alone.  We've been through a pandemic together.  We've made shows inside and out.  We've shared a spotlight or two and for her dedication and overall awesomeness, Mercy Health took notice and said "We'll get behind that!"  Becky is a staple of all we do and who you see on camera....is exactly who she is.  Friendly, kind, giving and caring.  Supportive, enterprising and never gives up.  From a very personal angle, she's a remarkable friend too and as we all age, making a true friend is a harder and harder task to accomplish.  Becky is all that to everyone.

We'll give you the reminder to drink plenty of water, warm up, stretch out and always consult a Dr. before you begin this or any other workout program.  Very humbly we say thank you Becky.  Thank you for taking a chance on us and giving more than you get every week.  Here's episode 200 of Fit and Healthy With Becky, brought to you by Mercy Health on The Muskegon Channel.

Our most heartfelt thanks to Becky and her dedicated viewers.  Our thanks to Mercy Health for their help in keeping us all going and VERY special thanks to The Gym in North Muskegon for being our flagship fitness center since we started.  If you'd like to know more about Becky and how she can help you as a Certified Personal Trainer, click on her link below!
