Sunday!  (Insert exhale).  Yes it's a Sunday morning and a chance to spend a little time relaxing and enjoying the calm and quiet, while enjoying a new episode of Tranquil Waves Yoga with Caitlin Anderson.  She's building her practice and she share an experience here weekly as a sample as well as a way to help expose a lot of people to something remarkably beneficial, but maybe a little foreign to them.

This week, it's the Crescent Lunge stretches the legs, groin, and hip flexors, while also opening the front torso, chest, and shoulders. It strengthens and tones the thighs, hips, and butt, while the balancing aspect helps to develop flexible stability.  It's useful to anyone really because who couldn't use some of those joints and what not moving around a little better.

Yoga is an ancient art, practiced world wide, and it's being embraced more and more here in the States.  Now, being from Muskegon and all, we're an awesome town, but not always the earliest adaptors.  While there are plenty of regular yoga participants here, Tranquil Waves Yoga is designed to give you the ability to try something out at home before you go all in to try it with a group.  But like most anything else, a group is a pretty rewarding experience and you can see the benefits that you get as well as others along the way.  So we'll help Caitlin grow, and when she's got her own studio, maybe you'll be ready for the group thing.

In the meantime, here's your Sunday Morning Moment of Zen.  Enjoy!

(Insert second exhale)  See!  You did it!  It's an enjoyable and rewarding experience and if you take a little here, great.  If you'd like to go for the next step, get in touch with Caitlin via her website and learn more about her offerings.  One on one, group possibilities and even digitally!  We'll have another new episode next week right here on the Muskegon Channel.
