It's another visit with Attorney Shon Cook on our weekly segment and this time it's live from one of our partner sponsors Scherdel Sales and Technology where we met up to film our discussion and help celebrate their 25th Anniversary in Muskegon. It was a remarakble day where the employees were treated to a wonderful lunch, fun and games, prizes galore and the adoration of the company they work so hard for. Scherdel being one of the primary components of our Step it Up program with Shon we wanted to be there together to thank the staff for providing to date $20,000 for area non profit organizations. In the heart of the pandemic, it was Shon who began the program, Scherdel come in and it continues to grow. We're honored, proud and thankful.
Down to the business of Shon though. Shon is talking about what you should expect from an attorney if you engage with one. This too can serve as a road map for being a client as to many, it's a very new experience and not one that comes up all the time. What are reasonable expectations for communications? What are areas that need to be understood as "off time"? When is it considered to be an attorney not being diligent in their work when it comes to timeliness and communication and what are benchmarks that the Law Offices of Shon Cook try to achieve to get the best outcome for their clients?
This kind of harkens back to our earliest days of bringing you the feature Saturdays With Shon. Those surreal courtroom dramas you see on tv? Well, they are just that. Legalities are rarely if ever that exciting, but with Shon, and the reality of being in the middle of something legal...excitement is probably the last thing anyone wants.
Join us now out in front of an amazingly beautiful building and an incredibly fun atmosphere to learn what are reasonable expectations in an attorney client relationship on Saturdays With Shon.
It's a great asset to all of us that Shon can bring her experience to all of us in nearly real time. This week, she had an instance pop up and thought that bringing it to the audience would be helpful and in turn, it will help other attorneys with their client list as well. If you are in need of an attorney, Shon is the call. 231-894-0909. You can
