First off, child support is your responsibility. Pay something....anything if you are committed to it. Even if your entire life changes, find a way to put something toward it. Next, child support is based on a number of factors that need to be looked at carefully and maybe re-evaluated over time as life situations change as do economic situations. The most important thing here....the kid or kids. Let's remember that they are the ones that are in the middle here and not really wanting to pick a side. If things couldn't work out for you, remember that the individuals that you've created are going to need parents and if you can't be together in marriage, try to be together enough for them.
