2021 Apr 14th - The Muskegon County Airport (MKG), now professionally managed by F3 Airport announced an additional flight will be serving the airport during the summer travel season.The third daily United Express flight, operated by SkyWest Airlines, from Muskegon to Chicago will be available beginning June 3, 2021. Muskegon County Airport mostly for general aviation but is also served by United Express regional jets to Chicago O'Hare operated through Skywest. This enhanced seasonal flight schedule will provide passengers with greater flexibility and makes it easier to fly wherever they want to travel. The flights from Muskegon are timed to provide maximum connection opportunities in Chicago and will provide travelers seamless access to United’s global network. From Chicago, United offers hundreds of daily flights to more than 200 destinations around the world. All United Express flights from Muskegon to Chicago are aboard SkyWest’s 50-passenger CRJ200 regional aircraft. “We’re pleased to bring an additional flight to Muskegon this summer and provide passengers with more travel options,” said Greg Atkin, SkyWest’s managing director of Market Development.
