Have you ever thought about repelling down the side of an eight story building? No? Well, what if I told you that there is a way you can do just that all the while supporting a good cause.

Today I met Dan Skoglund, Executive Director of the Muskegon Rescue Mission at the Highpoint Flats Apartments to talk about the Over the Edge event. Over the Edge is a fundraising event where 30 lucky participants that have raised at least $1,000 will get the chance to repel down the side of one of our eight story downtown Muskegon apartment buildings. Dan explained that Over the edge is a fundraiser for the Muskegon Rescue Mission to help not only our residents here but for people all over who reach out to them for help.

Over the Edge will take place at the Highpoint Flats in downtown Muskegon Saturday July 31 starting at 8am and going until 4pm. This event is open to the public to come down and watch while you cheer on these brave adventure seekers. If you would like to be one of the lucky ones to go Over the Edge visit the link below and it will take you to the registration page. There all you need to do is put in your information, then share with your friends and family to raise your $1,000.
