Public Health - Muskegon County Director Kathy Moore joins for the weekly update on COVID-19 in the county.

Last week there was some hope that the numbers were still declining, however it’s taken a dramatic turn in the wrong direction. Are there any new variants? How to define and outbreak or a cluster, especially in schools where some closures are happening. Symptoms that those vaccinated can anticipate? Too hard to generalize. On to the charts. Cases are way up. November could be higher than expected in the 3rd surge. Death counts are still down thankfully, the map of the country from the CDC. Our local PCR test results have doubled. Hospital beds being used local and regional and final thoughts from Kathy.
