It’s our weekly update with Kathy Moore, Director of Public Health Muskegon County on COVID and it’s still a downward trend in Muskegon County almost across the board.

It’s not a time to ease up on preventative measures by any means, but down is good. We talk about Omicron and if it’s here in the county yet. We talk about the forthcoming free at home tests and how to get them, unfortunately there’s not a lot of info there yet. We show you the most current data about hospitalizations, breakthrough cases and vaccinations. Talk about the potential for schools to be virtual when they return from the holidays and the fact that we’ll probably see an uptick soon when Omicron gets here as well as after the holidays.
