Jodi Jarvis-Therrian has a hit on her hands!  It's our 7th episode of Dog Blessed on the Muskegon Channel and week after week, the growing audience is proving that people love their dogs!  We've done some art work.  We've talked about researching your breed.  We've talked about safety and in the upcoming weeks you'll be hearing about focused nutrition, meeting some new faces that are looking for forever homes and even taking some field trips!  However....the one thing everyone loves is the focus of this weeks tricks!

Is the old idea that "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" still applicable?  Not so much according to Jodi.  Also having an established group of tricks can be beneficial for you and your pet in stressful situations.  Heading to the vets office and some nerves pop up?  Tricks can be a distraction.  Barking at passers by, distractions out the window, strange situations or people....all can be limited with having something else for your pet to be occupied with.  Not to mention if your dog can do some fun stuff for the people coming over, well, they are the hit of the party.

Jodi explains it all.  It's brought to you by the CBD Store of Michigan, Must Love Dogs in Grand Haven and Clock's Timeless Pets.  Take a listen to how to establish some tricks that will benefit you and your pet in episode 7 of Dog Blessed on the Muskegon Channel.

Super fun and a great way to help your dog through some of the more stressful things. Did you ever even think of the dual purpose of a few tricks? It's part of that reward based, positive training system that Jodi encourages and teaches with her CPDT-KA CTDI certification in dog training.  Dog Blessed is the title of the show and Jodi's company.  If you'd like to know more about her work and upcoming endeavors, please, click on the logo below.
