We love our partnership with Betten Baker of Muskegon is amazing and we're thankful to be a part of the 40 years of success that they are celebrating this year! Henry Street in Muskegon is by far and away the most apparent spot in all of Michigan to see just how much Betten Baker has grown in those 40 years, but it's also a spot that keeps that "hometown dealership" alive by supporting the community in ways that go so far beyond selling cars and fixing the ones you want to keep.
If you roll back even 20 years, the layout of Henry Street has changed vastly. If you remember back to when there were all kinds of different dealers...the old buildings, the congested feeling of the older layouts and buildings that needed a refresh? As Betten Baker has grown, the open feel to the expanded dealerships and dynamic new layouts provide a much more welcoming feel to shop for new or preowned. Service departments are clean and open and the amenities offered for customers are second to none. But the extension into the community is where Betten Baker really puts the effort.
Betten Baker Hyundai is hosting a pantry drive for the Muskegon County Veterans Department of Veterans Affairs. It's going on from now until the first week of May. Yes, there are pantry pushes a plenty all over the county, but as we know, Muskegon County has a remarkably big heart for those who've served and we are always behind the work that goes on for the aid of our veterans. The need is for things like non perishable food items, personal hygiene products and supplies that are needed. The great thing about the Veteran's Department too is that this pantry extends to the spouses of those who have served...no one is forgotten.
Maria Secord invited me "across the street" to meet Joe Holstein who's the GM of Betten Baker Hyundai. Joe has a personal tie to vets and first responders as you will learn and he's also tempting you in to help the food drive with a Yeti Cooler you can enter to win! Take a listen!
It's a chance to do what's right for those who were willing to make the Ultimate Sacrifice for us all. You can certainly enter for the cooler too and see some remarkably beautiful new cars...but it's that chance to help that Betten Baker Hyundai want's you to see isn't just on the East side of Henry Street, it's on all sides and you can do your part simply and easily by just dropping in and sparing some non perishables. Thanks to Joe and Maria for the chance to share the word!
