Every Woman's Place is the spot for those who've suffered domestic or sexual abuse in Muskegon.  We've long worked with them to assist with awareness as well as fundraising as abuse remains prevalent in society and the victims of it often remain silent, hiding their shame and the cycle continues.  With Giving Tuesday coming up soon, there's an opportunity for you to donate to Every Woman's Place and Private Cable Systems will match the donation up to $5000.  An easy way to double the impact made for the purpose.

Catherine Gage is the Director of Development at Every Woman's place and she invited us by to catch up on things at this vitally essential organization.  We talked a little about Power of the Purse which was a huge success this year and then we move on to the need for the help around the holidays and what a portion of the $10k will be used for when this call for help comes to a close.  Some needed updates to the building as well as funding for programs that continue, and actually grow in need around the holidays.

Private Cable Systems of Michigan is matching all donations, up to $5000 bucks, so your $10 becomes $20 and the ball gets moving really quickly on a much needed service for anyone who's experiences domestic or sexual violence.  Private Cable Systems has long been one of the primary sponsors of Every Woman's Place and this act of kindness with the match is in step with all they have done.  Our thanks to them for their good work,

It's an easy way to have a little turn into a lot, so as you consider who you'd like to help this Giving Tuesday, please consider Every Woman's Place in Muskegon and those they serve.  Love should never equal violence.
