The Spring into Lakeside event is an annual event put on by the local business owners. If you haven't been to this event before you have the chance to join in the fun on Saturday May 20th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..

 

Whether you're young or old the Lakeside event has something for you to enjoy. If you're a dog lover you're sure to have fun at the dog parade from 10 to 11:30 a.m.. You can find the information and registration for the event at Sitting Pretty Pet Spa.  If you're into the art scene be sure to stop by Art Cats Gallery. From 12 to 3 p.m. You will be able to view the sidewalk chalk contest. The Art Cats Gallery will be hosting “A Happy Days” Student Art Contest.  This contest will be for children up to the 7th grade if have a little Picasso be sure to sign them up. spring into lakesideSpring Into Lakeside Facebook Event

The Lakeside Water's Edge Fitness business owner Marissa will be hosting a flash mob and Vicki will be offering yoga classes during the event at her new business Blue Horizons Wellness (she also has a management firm at the same location).  There are so many family-friendly activities for you to join in on from free bike helmets (while supplies last) and fitting at 11:30 at the pocket park to the taco truck and puppet show at New Day Fellowship you are sure to find something you and your family will enjoy. Please help support the local businesses in Lakeside and join in on some Community fun.

It's a growing area and nicely tucked away in an easily strolled area.  Fun shops, great food and for some the first peek of Muskegon when they get off the Lake Express Ferry.  Many thanks to the Lakkeside District Association for givein us another reason to enjoy on of the great neighborhoods in Muskegon.  To learn a little more about the Lakeside District, click on their logo below.
