I recently visited Diane Smith with Agewell Services of Muskegon, Oceana and Ottawa Counties to talk about their 5th annual HEELS FOR MEALS fundraiser event taking place this coming Saturday, April 21st at Bella Maria's Event Center.
This annual event gets bigger and better every year!.... Proceeds benefiting Agewell Service's MEALS ON WHEELS program.... Feeding individuals in the Muskegon, Oceana and Ottawa County areas who are over the age of 60 and in need of fresh, hot, delicious meals delivered to their homes. Not only does Meals on Wheels provide much needed nourishment....but also much appreciated friendly interaction with others.
This year's HEELS FOR MEALS event will feature a delicious meal, dessert bar, signature cocktails (with hand painted wine and martini glasses), live band, contest shoe fashion show, live and silent auctions and much more! Tickets are still available but going very fast.... Each ticket is $45 per person and available by calling (231) 733-8636.
It's so important to make sure our senior citizens are taken care of. It's an elegant and fun way to make sure that our most vuneralble are provided for and that we give back to them what they paid forward as they raised us.
