Stars align for the 11th Annual "Dancing with the Local Stars"...Britta Cleveland Reports

Muskegon Metro Area News
We recently caught up with the Co-Chair Woman of the Women's Division Chamber of Commerce of West Michigan. ....Mary Kendall .....to chat about the 11th Annual Dancing with the Local Stars taking place in late February of 2019 at the Holiday Inn & Conference Center in downtown Muskegon.   This incredibly exciting, fun event has raised $923,000.00 over the last 10 years.... And they are hoping to surpass the 1 million dollar mark in February!
The Women's Division Chamber of Commerce has donated the money raised from this annual event to over 30 West Michigan food pantries located in North Ottawa, Lower Oceana and Muskegon Counties each year.    In 2018 this event raised over $170,000.00.
This past Friday evening we attended the Women's Division Chamber of Commerce big "Reveal" party at the Holiday Inn.... Officially announcing the lineup of local community Stars and which professional dancer they will be paired up with.   There will be groups performing and pairs as well.   There will be 4 identical performances over the course of three days.... And each performance winners in several different categories will be named.... Plus bragging rights.
This fun event features pairs and groups of dancers that start rehearsing this month and continue to increase the number of rehearsals leading up to the big show dates of February 21st, 22nd and 23rd of 2019.    All styles of music and dance will be represented...plus incredible themes and costumes.   Truly a complete blast to attend for anyone of any age.   The 2019 Dancing with the Local Stars theme is "Winter Wonderland".
