Watch Muskegon Holding Fundraiser at Muskegon Winter Sports Complex January 29th

Muskegon Metro Area News

Bring your family and friends out to the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex this Tuesday January 29th from 4pm-10pm and help raise funds for the Watch Muskegon campaign.  For a special discounted Watch Muskegon Family night pass of $15 per person, or $40 for a family, you can enjoy everything the Muskegon Sports Complex has to offer.  If you buy the pass ahead of time, the Sports Complex will give 30% of sales to the Watch Muskegon campaign, while 20% will be donated when purchased at the Sports Complex (so buy in advance!).

With the pass, participants can enjoy ice skating on the 1/4 mile ice skating trail through the woods, cross country ski or snowshoe through the trails at the state park.  All rental equipment comes with the purchase of the pass.  For an additional $15, you can try out the luge track.

As many of you know, the Watch Muskegon campaign has been a successful marketing and promotional tool for all of Muskegon County.  Donations to Watch Muskegon not only pay for marketing and promotions, but also beautification efforts and community educational training.

Besides the Winter Sports complex fundraiser, Watch Muskegon has other fundraising efforts going on.  You can purchase Watch Muskegon gear at www.watchmuskegon.com

Lauren Stanton also had the chance to sit down with Carla Flanders, the VP of Marketing for the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, to talk about other ways you can get involved and donate to the Watch Muskegon campaign.  Here is their interview.
