Polka Melodies Lives On
Local radio is at the heart of what we do, and we’re honored that Tom Sanocki chose us to continue a West Michigan tradition more than 40 years in the making.
Polka Melodies celebrates the music, heritage and community that have brought generations of West Michigan families together. The Polish community has deep roots throughout the region, especially on the West Side of Grand Rapids, where Pulaski Days has remained a treasured family tradition for decades.
Muskegon began a tradition of its own in 2016, when Len Piasecki, Tom Sanocki and Greg Moss helped launch the Muskegon Polish Festival. Today, both communities continue to celebrate Polish heritage through music, food, fellowship and family.
The Muskegon Polish Festival takes place over Labor Day weekend. Pulaski Days in Grand Rapids runs from September 27 through October 4. You’ll find links to both festivals at the bottom of this page. Now, on to the show!

Polka Melodies has entered a new era while remaining true to the music and community that made it a staple of West Michigan radio. This partnership is an important milestone for Polka Melodies, Muskegon Channel and GR Channel , where the show also airs weekly.
